It’s a lot of fun to code, but I don’t have too much time at the moment. So, I am putting the site up for sale. You get my support in getting it running on your server (It’s php and html, so it can run on most any server.), my roadmap of features that I would like to add, and all of the code and images that go along with it. I am asking for $200 or a new smartphone (either the Droid X or Incredible from Verizon). Drop me a comment or am email if you’re interested.

It is a web app that creates visual signatures of all your social networks for emails; it can also be used for blogs. You can see an example in the “My Social Networks” block on my right sidebar. I’d also like to thank @mzimmer557 for his review.

Technically, I am not a developer. I am a teacher with VERY limited technical skills. I know some HTML, and can hack together some PHP and MySQL when necessary. There are things that I would like to do to help make the site more useful and appealing to people. Unfortunately, these are beyond my current skill. So, I am looking for a partner who is competent in HTML, PHP, MySQL, AJAX/jQuery, and some graphic editing skills.

Before I explain what I want to do with the site, I would like to explain what you would get out of being a partner. The site is only worth how users value it. As a partner, you would get a 50% stake in the venture. So, if the service ever gets bought, you would be entitled to half the proceeds. You would also be entitled to half of any revenue derived from advertising (none currently yet). Lastly, you would be encouraged to help with the vision and direction of the site.

If you are interested, here is what I would like to do with the site:

  1. Currently, the site operates in three steps. I want to implement client-side Javascript (ie. AJAX/jQuery) to build the signatures on one page in real-time.
  2. Also using Javascript, I would like to allow users to drag-and-drop the icons to rearrange the order in which they appear.
  3. I would like to implement user accounts so that users’ signatures can be stored for later use or modification.
  4. I would like to utilize a freemium model that would give Pro users (maybe $5/yr) extra features, such as choosing different icon sets for their services and storing unlimited signatures.
  5. I need to continually add new services to maintain the site’s relevance.
  6. I would like to make original icon sets as I am using free or creative commons licensed images on the site currently.
